Tool Bar: Plain text authoring with Markdown

Online Event

Markdown is a simple text format that allows the uncomplicated formatting of texts and is now used in various contexts. For example, task descriptions or wiki pages in GitLab can be enriched with formatting such as lists, links or similar using Markdown. But even entire scientific articles can be written with Markdown and automatically converted into various formats such as DOCX, PDF or HTML. Automatic references and bibliographies can also be integrated. The articles of the online journal Entangled Religions, for example, are now written entirely in Markdown and converted into PDF and HTML.
