To mark the beginning of the second funding phase of SFB 1475, this workshop provides new Early Career Researchers (ECRs) with a compact yet comprehensive introduction to the collaborative research centre's methodological framework.
Participants will be introduced to the core methods developed within SFB 1475, including metaphor identification, mapping, and linking. The workshop will also provide an overview of the SFB's annotation infrastructure and the conceptual and technical framework behind the annotation process.
