Der Arzt Jesus und die Salberin Maria im Einsatz um das Heil der Gläubigen. Eine Mixed-Methods-Analyse medizinischer Metaphorisierungen in deutschsprachigen Texten des Mittelalters

Teilprojekt B01 erforscht medizinische Metaphern in christlichen Texten des Mittelalters. Das Konzept des Seelenheils ist eines der grundlegenden Elemente des christlichen Glaubens. Die Vorstellung einer heilungsbedürftigen Seele impliziert, dass sie krank oder verwundet gewesen ist; medizinisches Vokabular wird verwendet, um dies darzustellen. In einer Kombination von hermeneutischen und computergestützten Methoden werden medizinische Metaphern manuell annotiert, analysiert und interpretiert sowie mit quantitativen Verfahren identifiziert, ihre Bedeutung abgeleitet und hermeneutische Interpretation unterstützt.
